Welcome to my Blog! My name is Rachel Taylor and I compiled the images
and themes on this blog for my Colonial Latin America class. I am a
Senior History Major at Colorado State University. I am an aspiring
Historian, and someday I hope to apply the knowledge that I have
learned over the past few years on a historical topic I have passion
for. Within this blog you will find depictions of women and children
in Colonial Latin America. Many of the photos are related to the slave
trade in Brazil, while others are Casta paintings that portray race
