Just wanted to say, this has become my go to quick bread recipe! However, I generally substitute half the white flour for whole wheat and 2/3 cup brown sugar instead of two cups of white sugar.

Mine too...except her recipe called for a package of pineapple jello and celery added too! Really yummy....I still make for potluck BBQ's!!
