Of course Pappy’s travel all over the world performing their comedy. But when they’re not in your town you can have them in your ears by listening to one of their fantastic podcasts: Pappy’s Flatshare Slamdown is a live panel show set in Pappy’s flat. Landord Matthew attempts to solve petty flatshare squabbles by pitting his tenants, Tom and Ben, against one another in a series of silly games. Each episode they’re aided by guests from the world of comedy and entertainment. Previous guests include Richard Herring, Andy Zaltzman, Isy Suttie, a drunk Rufus Hound, Robin Ince, Iain Lee and Answer Me This! hosts Helen and Olly. Pappy’s Flatshare Slamdown recently won the Funniest Podcast award at the Loaded Laftas. Pappy’s Bangers and Mash is a part-scripted, part-improvised, all-hilarious audio representation of everyone’s favourite dinner. In the morning Ben, Matthew and Tom record a conversation. They then listen back to it and write sketches based on the topics they cover. Finally, they record these sketches and edit them into the conversation- like sausages dropped into mash potato.
