Pottermore Sorting: Sorting Hat Analysis and Meta

This blog is devoted to discussing the Pottermore Sorting Hat, trying to analyze what answers are which and why they are what they are. I also do a bit of meta/rumor debunking and reblog graphics. I Don’t Do Wand Analysis: Click to read why. I helped figure out how the wand quiz on Pottermore works, but I am not an Ollivander-style Wand Meaning Blog. Please don’t drop requests in the ask or submit. Also, we figured out all possible combos/answers for the wand quiz, so I don’t need any more wand submissions! Quick and Dirty Guide: For those of you who want the weightings with no explanation. Was current as of early 2013. Beta Sorting Analysis: Please note that some information in this post is wrong - the instruments, boxes, Muggle confrontation, and secondary weighting of stars are all probably going to be different in the final analysis. Was based off of a small sample size from early Beta.
