Everyday Carry*

what you think you need and why - It has all become a bit much lately - Having grown up in a remote rural place, I have grown used to carry some items on me as a rule from an early age. After 40 yrs these “some items” kind of cumulated in my trusted Barbour game bag which is now loaded with all kind of kit. Although most of the stuff I carry reflects that at one point or another I had needed it, I gather that other items have only been added in anticipation of events. I have recently discovered the numerous EDC and Pocket Dump blogs on the web, but it has not made things better - if for the comfort not to be alone with my “problem” - becaus e there are some many allegedly useful tools out there: Mini pry bars, keychain pincers, super-bright micro torches to fit in your nose, … I have eventually decided to strip my EDC kit down a little, or at least diversify i.e. split it in modules. This blog is to keep track of the process.
