Time Machines is our first 'editions by' collection. Designed by guest
designer Daniel Weil, a first edition of each of the 3 clocks has been
exclusively produced in collaboration with Daniel to the
specifications of the clocks shown at the Design Museum, London, 2014
and limited to 50 of each. Leaving his native Argentina and arriving
at the Royal College of art in 1979, it was Daniel’s Radio In A Bag,
in 1983 that captured the zeitgest of post industrial Britain and is
included in the permanent collections of MOMA and the V&A. Daniel’s
fascination with time is a constant with time machines being an
addition to a long line of time related collections including ‘time
for all' (1994) and ‘making time’ sothebys (2012). more
