Books! People Never Seem to Stop Loving Books!

Welcome to my book blog! Things here will be decidedly bookish (and may also feature tea). I have a variety of interests and my reading tends to be eclectic as a result. The most common are probably nonfiction and YA books. Fair warning: one of the subjects I’m studying for my degree is Religious Studies so a lot of what comes across my desk has a religious theme. I am not trying to convert anyone when I review this material (most of it will be under a ‘read more’ sign anyway). Feel free to message me if you want to chat about books or any other subject. I always love recommendations. .gr_custom_container_1438027418 { /* customize your Goodreads widget container here*/ border: 1px solid gray; border-radius:10px; padding: 10px 5px 10px 5px; background-color: #FFFFFF; color: #000000; width: 300px } .gr_custom_header_1438027418 { /* customize your Goodreads header here*/ border-bottom: 1px solid gray; width: 100%; margin-bottom: 5px; text-align: center; font-size: 120% } .gr_custom_each_container_1438027418 { /* customize each individual book container here */ width: 100%; clear: both; margin-bottom: 10px; overflow: auto; padding-bottom: 4px; border-bottom: 1px solid #aaa; } .gr_custom_book_container_1438027418 { /* customize your book covers here */ overflow: hidden; height: 60px; float: left; margin-right: 4px; width: 39px; } .gr_custom_author_1438027418 { /* customize your author names here */ font-size: 10px; } .gr_custom_tags_1438027418 { /* customize your tags here */ font-size: 10px; color: gray; } .gr_custom_rating_1438027418 { /* customize your rating stars here */ float: right; } Ngaio’s bookshelf: currently-reading God’s Secretaries: The Making of the King James Bible by Adam Nicolson Rabid: A Cultural History of the World’s Most Diabolical Virus by Bill Wasik Fevered Lives: Tuberculosis in American Culture Since 1870 by Katherine Ott Share book reviews and ratings with Ngaio, and even join a book club on Goodreads.
