Half fandom, Half personal blog. The full bio is: I’m 27, working on fully transitioning from F to M, (but the full transition won’t be a reality for a while to come). I live in Michigan, though my soul aches for a home in the UK. I’m Demisexual, currently pre-engaged, in a long term relationship with a girl who (I’m pretty sure) the sun rises and falls upon. Ukfancier, her blog resides here. I didn’t used to watch much tele, a little Colbert Report here, Boondocks and Scrubs there, with the occasional dash of shows like Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies, etc. I’ve always been much bigger on reading. Stephen King (my favorite author), Chuck Palahniuk, Ray Bradbury, Hunter S. Thompson, Richard Brautigan, John Irving, Jas Obrecht, David Sedaris, Mark Z. Danielewski and so on. Slowly but surely however, British television has invaded my life. It started with The Mighty Boosh and then exploded in a world of IT Crowd, until I find myself sitting through hours of Top Gear on BBC America, simply because it’s BBC America. Things I enjoy: The Mighty Boosh, Sherlock, Night Vale, Supernatural, Fresh Meat, Community, IT Crowd, Nathan Barley, Asylum, Big Fat Quiz, Big Train, Black Books, DarkPlace, Doctor Who, Little Britain, Katy Brand’s Big Ass Show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy, Snuff Box, Spaced, Unnatural Acts, ADBC: A Rock Opera, Key and Peele, Boondocks, Kitchen Nightmares, (That’s a shortened list for now.) I smoke, but don’t drink. I like to think I have a decent sense of humor. I write slam poetry (and if you have shit to say about it, I don’t need to hear it. Expression is expression and no one has any right to complain about how I express myself.) I love music, it IS in fact life. Grateful Dead, Simon and Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, The Format, Kate Bush, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Decemberists, Queen, Chameleon Circuit, Sage Francis, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Radiohead, Nirvana, Gorillaz, Tupac, Young Jeezy… the list is about six hundred bands long. Books you should read: House of Leaves,The Dark Tower Series, American Gods, Loading Mercury With A Pitchfork, A Clockwork Orange, The Boosh Book, The Stand, Lullaby, Wigfield, The Stand, Amphigory, Only Revolutions, Interview With The Vampire, The Hobbit, Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World. Ships: Destiel, Johnlock, Noelian, Howince, Trobed, Sabriel, Eddie/Roland, and about a thousand others.
