You do NOT need to be a group member to post and ask for advice or suggestions. If you would like to offer advice, please be sure to join this group, and set your notifications for "all new posts." We are dedicated to helping you figure out what to name your baby. If you have a list of names that you'd like reviewed, or if you need to start from scratch and get suggestions for names, this is the board for you. If you're overwhelmed with names, or you and your partner simply can't agree on names that either of you suggest, this service is a GREAT way to get unbiased advice on each of your name lists. We welcome discussion about names as well, but our focus will be personalized Name Advice, Name Reviews, and Name Suggestions from fellow members who are Name Buffs, Name Nerds, and Name Snobs that have a love of onomastics. We WILL do our best to offer honest advice and be sensitive to your needs without being cruel, but if you find that you're sensitive to constructive criticism or blunt opinions, we suggest remembering that none of the criticism you may find here is personally against you. Having a thick skin would be a good idea. We also encourage you to let us know if you liked or decided to choose any of the names we suggest, or chose a particular name based on our advice! When making "Suggestion Requests,"we suggest that you please copy and paste our "Request Form" that's found in the Board's Sticky Talk (thread) in yellow.
