Scattered across many countries and four continents, we , friends and
also photographers rarely have the opportunity to meet outside our
email application and group projects. We are constantly discussing
what we are trying to communicate through our photos. Yet these are
relationships made up of wires and tubes, film rolls and pixel images.
This project, Ante Portas, is our way to introduce ourselves to one
another. Since february 2009, the Ante Portas participants presented
one image, one serie or sequences from their lives each month. Each
photographs is edited and posted by photographers themselves, using
the instant mail publishing system of Tumblr. The goal is to offer
something more personal, closer to heart - an aspect of our daily
lives. ————————— Photographers: Lorenzo Castore
