Have yet to see an HTML client video/presentation/article from the
Team where the revealing prefix 'Line Of' precedes the phrase
'Business App'.
We know why this is and to be fair, said HTML client was ( and
presumably still is ), targeted at the mobile/tablet space.
So, Team;
When will we see Team - authored examples of LOB applications for the
HTML client?
Assuming the answer to the above is 'not for the foreseeable
future...' ( or similar ) then: What is the roadmap for the HTML
client? What is the roadmap for the SL client? Will long-outstanding
(often ignored) SL client bug-fixes/requests logged on connect ever be
addressed? Will general SL Client performance issues (already logged
by others) be dealt with? Will the SL CLient receive at least general
maintenance and improvement over time?
Most of these questions address the SL client. Simple reason being
that that's our only LightSwitch LOB option at present. Yes, we can
achieve a lot of great things as things stand, however some of these
issues present problems, both at design and runtime, to say nothing of
having to explain to a client why a particular something is
done/presented the way it is.
I address these legitimate questions directly to the Team in the hope
of some clarity. Some constructive response would be useful and very
much appreciated.
Thanks
