I’ve been writing tunes since I was fourteen. I dunno why. Loving music and possibly boredom. When I first started learning the guitar I had a Beatles chord book and Oasis ‘Definitely Maybe’. Then got into Radiohead and I think that really changed the way I saw songs. Probably didn’t know that at the time. I think if I had to put my finger on one key influence it would be them. Along the way more folk influences and acoustic based artists have got me thinking, like Bob Dylan. Lyrics are always hard to write, I find, because I’m not interested in making things obvious. I normally just write about heartbreak…how very obvious!! I’m not trying to do anything special, I’ve just always loved writing songs and thought it might be nice to share them. My new EP “Bang! Bang!” is now released on iTunes. Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it… You can pick up a copy here.
