But Then Again, Nothing Ever Really Ends, Does It.

“Fangirls have no concept of elegance. We bleed our passion. We hold no limits to how we express our ‘feels’. We commit 100 and infinity percent to EVERYTHING and EVERYONE we fangirl about. There is no way to half ass being a fangirl. Either you are one or you’re not. But there is a fangirl/fanboy in all of us. For SOMETHING or SOMEONE. Find it and you will know. It doesn’t take much to set it into motion. It can be as simple as hearing a quote that changes your whole perspective on life. or as complex as watching a long TV series that grows on you until you find yourself loving it so deeply that it’s all you think about, dream about, write or draw about. Being a fangirl is like being apart of a universe inside a universe inside a universe inside a universe inside a…. well you get the picture. It’s about being apart of something big, MASSIVE even. It’s about loving something or someone or some idea so much that you go and find others that are crazy about it too, or you end up inspiring others to love it with you because you can’t help but to tell everyone and anyone about how much you love that THING that so drastically changed your life, and most times you tell them even if they aren’t listening or interested. Because you just can’t help yourself! You NEED to talk about it, you want people to listen! and sometimes, eventually… people DO listen, because being a fangirl is contagious, it is POWERFUL, it is WONDERFUL, it is PAINFUL, it is STRESSFUL, it is INSPIRING, it is UNIFYING, it is a WAY OF LIFE. And most times it’s something that starts as a snowflake and turns itself into a giant snowball barrelling down a mountain filled with other snowflakes that join in on the ride just because it looks fun and they all pile on top of one another and just end up loving to hate this crazy ride that we just can’t stop revolving around. And in some crazy messed up way being a fangirl is the biggest contradiction that always finds a way to justify itself. Because it is a sickness, just as much as it is a cure, and that is so, so…US. A fangirl is just another girl. But BETTER. Be a fangirl. Or go home. (which is actually where you will find most of us.)” ~keepcalmandfangirlforever
