Tale of Silent is a sci-fi, steampunk, fantasy cartoon comic created
by Emily.C The year is 1945 and the streets of New York city haven't
been anything new for Mia Nickels a young newsie. Mia's has been
raised in an orphanage since a baby and her past is un clear to her
and her hatred of the world she lives in isn't new to her either. Her
being the bookworm she is make's her want to live in a world other
than the one she lives in now. But an unexpected event turns a
different way when Mia runs into an old abandoned apartment and meets
strange man named Voodoo Eight who lives in a world called Silent and
is mayor in a small city called Voodoo City that Rubin ( her uncle) is
the dictator of Silent and has been the one who separated silent from
Magic to Non magic. And that Mia was born with an gene called the
Locust gene which is why Rubin banished her to the real world. Mia
goes on a quest with her two allies Norman and a talking cat Toast to
stop her uncle and find out the origins behind her gene, and past. Is
Silent just as complicated as the real world was to her?
