The Kansas Research Nexus is a partnership between the cities of
Lawrence, Manhattan and Topeka. We have come together to showcase the
combined assets of our nine-county region and the benefits they offer
to business and industry. With a population exceeding 460,000 people,
the Kansas Research Nexus is home to the University of Kansas, Kansas
State University and Washburn University. Research from these
nationally-acclaimed universities includes the areas of animal health,
human health research in cures for cancer and biomass and clean
technology.
