interested in fan culture, open culture and technology, and Japan.

receive. MY COMPANY The Open Japan Group is my research and language
services company. We do consulting on the media business and open
culture, Japanese-English translation, content writing, and
copyediting. We’re trying out various ways of making that sort of
services more accessible, so that we can help not just businesses but
also non-profits, educators, and researchers. MY RESEARCH Mostly on
the intersections between fan culture and open culture/open source -
tech, copyright, new business models, online communities, Japanese fan
