A Series of Missed Steps

What is this about?… Who are you?… Where is this going? This is an experiment in public semi-anonymity, starting by writing general thoughts and musings. All the while adding links, and re-blogging anything interesting or entertaining that catches my eye. A few of you know who I am, and what is posted here is mainly for you. I wanted a web presence, a way to put some of the stuff I’ve written, and images that I have made “out there”. I had considered setting up a Facebook page but there seemed to be less work and time required to maintain a blog like this, though I’m spending a little more time here than I first thought I would. With the random free time I have available, the queue function is my friend. Overall this is a place for things I want to share with friends and strangers alike. I’ve written for a few very small publications (the actual on-paper kind) over the years. This is my first interactive blog, and I’m curious to see what it will become. My interests vary; technology, music ,storytelling , paganism, atheism, and politics are all grist for the mill.. There might even be some wanderings into the more deviant and erotic aspects of the predominately conservative world I seem to live in. I intend to add posts whenever the Muse, ADD, or my need for amusement or distraction demands. This means there will very likely be some times it sits fallow and unchanging and others that will find rapid fire postings. I’ll try to tag as well as I can for the benefit of those who do not want to randomly root through the junk drawer of my thoughts. I hope you enjoy your time here. The content should be generally safe for work, but that might be subject to one’s definition of the words “Safe” and “Work”. ~~~~~ There have been a few asks about the URL of this blog. One definition of the word “Seanachaidh” can be translated from Gaelic as “History” or “Storyteller”, though these are a more modern use of the word. A more complete and I believe accurate definition can be found here. I do a bit of Storytelling in my spare time; fables, adventure, myths, legends, “just-so” style stories and the like.
