The Kansas.gov Pool, with geodata

Kansas.gov is the official Web site of the state of Kansas and its online services. We assist Kansas government agencies by developing online solutions on their behalf. We're looking for digital photos that illustrate the beauty and diversity of the Sunflower State. Have you taken any photos lately that fall within the categories of landscape, architecture, recreation or wildlife? If so, please submit your photos in the following format for consideration. • Date photo was taken • Title of photo • Description of photo • All photos should be geotagged • Date photo was taken • Geotags should be made public with their location in Kansas. Simply, click the "Place this photo on a map" link on the photo's page or use the Organize tool to place your images on the map. • Refrain from adding borders or other design elements to your photos (watermarks or other copyright information on the photo itself may prohibit us from using your photos on the state Web site) • Submit only 1 photo per subject (for example, submit only your favorite shot of the Capitol building in Topeka, not three photos taken from different angles.) • Photos should "illustrate the beauty and diversity of the Sunflower State". This is a moderated photo gallery and all submissions will be reviewed by the Kansas.gov staff before being made publicly available in the group. We reserve the right not to post photos we deem inappropriate, of poor photo quality or do not fall within the criteria for submission. Photos should not infringe on intellectual property or other rights of any other person or entity. Kansas.gov reserves the right to feature selected images on www.kansas.gov. We greatly appreciate your photo submission in helping to showcase the beauty and diversity of the Sunflower State. Sincerely, Kansas.gov www.kansas.gov
