I am a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research New England, where I do
research in economics, law and related fields, including philosophy,
the history of economics and computer science. I am on leave from the
University of Chicago, where I am an Assistant Professor of Economics
and Law. I am also co-founder with Eric Posner and Kevin Slavin of
Collective Decision Engines, a start-up that commercializes a voting
technique I proposed called Quadratic Voting for market research.
