International Women’s Initiative’s Survivors’ Blog is an open
window for exploring issues related to women’s rights, health, and
development globally. We have called it the Survivors’ blog because
we find it vital for stories from survivors around the world to share
their stories in a forum alongside supporters. Although all posts are
monitored by Victoria Womersley, IWI’s Blog Editor, IWI does not
necessarily endorse the views or declarations of these posts but
instead provides this platform to facilitate discussion. Any ideas and
