About Hey there! My name is Craig Morgan…well, technically, it’s
just Craig, but most people call me Craigery. I’m 25 years old and I
currently live in Chicago. Since I was a child, I’ve always had a
affinity for entertainment and comedy. I started out doing theatre and
talents shows as a young kid. Then in high school, my creative outlet
came in the form of T.V. Production, where I ran stories and anchored
the morning school news. When college came, I had less time to find
that creative spark. But, when I did, I would turn on my webcam and
make a funny video or skit and post it to YouTube. Then, suddenly one
of my videos went viral, and my channel gain millions upon millions of
views. I was ecstatic to say the least. I was contacted by managers
and got a small speaking roll on the sitcom “S#*! My Dad Says”. In
2011, I was able to meet with SNL producers to discuss auditioning,
however, my goal was first to join one of the big comedy theaters in
the U.S. So I moved to Chicago in 2013 to join Second City. In October
of 2014, I was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure. Since that
time, I’ve endured perhaps the most difficult period in my life.I
had to stop improv, stop working, and stop making YouTube videos.
Leaving out the dreadful details, I’m finally on the upswing. Part
of this blog, I know, will serve as sort of a therapeutic way of
letting go of those hard times and getting back on my feet. The other
part will cater to what I love to do, and thats making people laugh.
Look forward to more videos soon. Thanks so much for visiting.
