Teile des Ganzen = parts of the whole. THE PERSON: Andrea, 42, in/from Germany. Queer, cis genderweird fem(me), butch-loving, trans*partnered, complex-minded, multicurious, variably obsessed. Pronouns: please use she/her. Convinced that intersectional thinking is better thinking and always trying to improve her own skills in this area. THE BLOG: Culture nerdiness with a specialty in gender/sexuality issues, looked at through firmly-attached and much-beloved queer goggles. On a mission to spread awareness and appreciation for complexity and grey areas. May contain personal anecdata and uncontained emotions. Also ballroom dancing and cat pictures. Used to be a Glee-centric blog, branched out from there. I try to be aware of spoilers and tag them if I am, but I’m not following any show closely enough to always know what actually IS a spoiler. THE CONVERSATION: I love discussing meta and nerding out with others, but I’m rather inconsistent with the time I (can) make available for that. Ask if you want to know anything else. Asks usually get a reply - if I have anything to say. Anon has been off ever since I received the first death wish/threat, so if you prefer a private reply, just tell me. I sometimes don’t check Tumblr at all for days (and even weeks) because I’m off doing other things.
