Christie Lamb’s ambition is to be a professional singer songwriter
and she is already well on her way to success! Born in England,
Christie moved to Australia at age six and started dance lessons. A
few years later she turned her attention to piano and singing and by
the age of fourteen Christie was also playing guitar and songwriting
with great success. In 2010 Christie was nominated for a Mo Award for
Best Young Talent and supported James Taylor, Carole King and Cat
Stevens at Sydney Entertainment Centre. Christie also performed as one
of two vocalists from NSW at the Encore HSC showcase at Sydney Opera
House with her own composition. Christie has won numerous songwriting
awards and over 250 vocal awards and competitions. Christie’s 2011
JUMP project will involve writing and recording an EP, whilst working
on improving her vocals and showmanship with her mentor Gina
Jeffreys.CarriageWorks (JUMP NSW Delivery Partner) will guide and
manage Christie & Gina’s 10-month program experience. CarriageWorks
