English・Espanol・日本語OK I have lived Stateside since the Hanshin Quake, but I grew up mostly in Japan. I am mixed blood. Lot of tough subjects on here, so I’ve assembled a nice, calming playlist if you’d like. Transdude and finally owning it at 29. Still a feminism supporter, my no.1 issue is race, and finally learnt enough HTML to give you linebreaks here. I’m also a huge Shouwa era (26 to 89) music geek. I know some Taisho (12-26) and some Heisei (89 to now) but chances are if it was JP or ENG Shouwa era radio approoved, I know/have it. Might be a bootleg tape or a LP, but it works. Hobbies include DXing AM/FM (underdog), RPing, basketball, lifting, trying to be that guy in random nonmen’s lives who compliments you just for the hell of it, though I can usually be seen with my brother so I’m usually distracted by being a fanboy of something or someone’s new lifting incurred bruise or something shiny so I aplogise. Het leaning panromantic, heterosensual(it’s a term now), asexual but enjoys sex…and HERE is why I had so much trouble getting that ironed out–only learned last year that sensual attraction and sexual are two different things. Shit’s confusing, which is why I’m against normalising the narrative that everyone should know this before they can say “mama” because a lot of us don’t BECAUSE of normalisation. That’s a THING and I never knew that “Dude 10/10 at 3'o clock” and “ooh, she’s pretty and maybe I might like to cuddle her as long as her heart matches” are NOT the same thing. They’re not. The profile pic is of amazing stride pianist and Large Ham Fats Waller. My favourite of his songs/videos (back when music videos were shown as shorts in the theatre is “Your Feet’s too Big” You should look this guy up. (Actually, I really am a fan of his many works, but just didn’t want to be a triangle anymore) Visual media I like in no particular order: Wall-E Lilo and Stitch Mulan Anything Miyazaki Hayao The Boondocks Tekken Bleach MLP ok, but not seen much. Still like the emphasis on friendship both in the West and targeted at young women. We have a lot and it’s time they had some, too.
