French citizens went back to the polls over the weekend in the second
round of elections since the November 13th terrorist attacks in Paris.
After the first round of voting, the far-right National Front Party
was expected to capture a majority, but French voters came out in
droves for Nicholas Sarkozy's center-right Republicans and the
governing Socialist Party.
