“All my friends are superheroes” is not only the title to my debut
album but the story of my life. I’ve never been the person to stand
out in a crowd. I’ve never been the person to make myself heard.
Never stood my ground. Out of fear and lack of self-confidence I’ve
stood in the shadow of the person I truly am. Feelings kept growing
until every thought in my head was bringing me down. Every word
sounded phony and dumb. Eventually it turned to hatred for myself. So
why fight when no one cares, when no one hears you? Why bother when
there’s no one there for you? At the bottom of my shallow grave I
had music to help me. Things I dared not say and dared not do I
learned to express through listening to, writing and playing music.
The experience grew into a desire and the desire into a will. From
there on was no turning back and in the winter of 2014 I quit my job,
counted my savings and started writing songs as my way of fighting for
what I believe in. My way of making myself heard. Having previously
released two singles and music videos in 2015, which received praise
from music blogs in Sweden, England and the US I’ve also played a
number of shows and festivals such as Festival Del Mar. Time has now
come to release my debut album, “All my friends are superheroes”,
digitally as well as on 12” vinyl on Dec 4.
