I’m Stuart Gary, I’m a journalist and broadcaster with the
Australian Broadcasting Corporation. I’m the producer and host of
the ABC’s weekly Astronomy and Space Sciences program
“StarStuff”. I love space, dinosaurs, and trains. In my spare time
I fly planes, practice karate and pistol target shooting, and play
around with my cars, a 1000 HP twin turbocharged Falcon GT Hardtop
Interceptor, and a DeTomaso Pantera GTS. As a former radio DJ,
it’s not surprising that my other great passion is music, all kinds
but especially rock, grunge, trance, and new romantics. I’m vegan, a
life member of the RSPCA and a supporter of several animal welfare
organisations. This blog allows me to publish all the stuff we
can’t fit in the StarStuff radio show, as well as other stuff I find
