WOMEN, IDENTITIES AND CULTURE (WIC) is a journal of interdisciplinary
academic research on women's studies and gender studies, it also
covers a diverse studies of philosophy, psychology, sociology,
anthropology, history, literature, education, economy, management, and
political science from a feminist perspective.
It is designed to encourage interest in all issues and practices
pertaining to women from all over the world, with an emphasis on
matters of theory and on broad issues arising from the relationship of
women's studies to other disciplines.
The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly research dealing
with multiple identities and identity transition among women in
historical settings and contemporary era. Moreover, emphasis will be
placed on how socio-cultural context affects the manifestation of
these identities.
WOMEN, IDENTITIES AND CULTURE (WIC) seeks original manuscripts that
presenting academic work on the wide views of culture. Original
articles may use different theoretical and methodological approaches.
Empirical and qualitative studies, review articles, methodological
articles, brief reports, case studies and letters to the Editor will
not be excluded. Both English and French articles are accepted.
