An online meeting place for martial artists and those interested in martial arts to share thoughts, experiences, ideas and what we love about martial arts, and of course this includes MARTIAL ARTS MOVIES! Stop by, share a story, an idea, ask a question or share a link to something cool… and enjoy the movie links and other stuff. Martial arts has been a passion of mine since I was a kid in the 80’s with inspirations like Big Trouble in Little China, The Last Dragon, The Ninja craze and of course Kung Fu Theater. Due to various circumstances I had trained at many different schools and styles, searching for something… I had finally found a home in my training and what made sense to me. For the last 13 years I have been training in Wing Chun under an amazing SiFu, with just as amazing brothers and sisters. I do not believe that one system is better than another, I believe it depends on what is right for each individual to better oneself. We can improve, refine and develop ourselves through our art and passions. There are many differences with different styles in the beginning levels, these differences however are superficial. If one can look deep enough into oneself, one’s weaknesses, one’s ego, one’s strengths, one’s passion, one’s art then one can develop themselves beyond the superficial, beyond what one can see, but what one can feel. I hope to create a respectful place where people can share ideas, thoughts and the things they enjoy about martial arts. People who share the love of martial arts and our responsibility to preserve the integrity of martial arts. As a wise man named Bruce Leeroy said “I am no master”, only that I am on the journey to self discovery and working to refine my rough edges. Although our journeys are individual we can meet many friends along the way. This is a campfire with friends on the mountain side, a place where many paths can intersect, where we can connect with travelers along the path to our own development and share our experiences.
