My Little Sister with her ADAM syringe
The end result of Operation Rapture! I present you my children. Happy Halloween!
Ready for tomorrow!
First coat of paint.
Loose fitting of the dome and cage to the body. Shaping the PVC pipe with a heat gun was not easy and it definitely was a rush job.
Resin done, inside hollowed out and here’s Wally’s first test fitting. Tight fit but it’s alive!
Accent paint done and gel installed! Next shot of the ADAM syringe will be held by a Little Sister.
LED lighting installed in the ADAM syringe! A little accent paint and some red gel and this is done!
First layer of resin…and I ran out! Ruh-roh, I need to buy more.
Painting the ADAM syringe today.
ADAM syringe progress : Tonight’s progress on the ADAM syringe
Starting to cover the little Big Daddy with scrap cloth and I also test fit the fiberglass dome with a little tape.
Placing the major pieces of the ADAM syringe together. Penelope tried out the pump handle and I could see right away the scale is perfect for my six year old.
The pump handle came for my ADAM syringe I’m building!
I just ordered a pump handle on eBay. I can’t wait to make this for Penelope! I just hope the scale is right for a 6 year old.
Dangers of using a box cutter to shape foam, this one is in a bendy spot and keeps reopening over the past day since I got it.
First attempt at fiberglassing, using a 12" beach ball to mold the dome of my son’s suit.
The foam and sculpting of my son’s Big Daddy is done! On to fiberglassing!
Big Daddy for my son is taking shape, one more day of sculpting and its ready for fiberglassing.
