Tȟatȟáŋka Íyotake was a Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux holy man and tribal
chief during years of resistance to United States government policies
leading to the defeat of George A. Custer and his 7th Calvery at
Little Big Horn. He was killed by Indian agency police on the Standing
Rock Indian Reservation during an attempt to arrest him.
